The velodrome development foundation was created to grow and help sustain the sport of cycling in the united states. the foundation helped conceive the national sports and events center, a new project for the commonwealth of pennsylvania. this world-class facility, the first of its kind in the u.s., will include the national velodrome, a state-of-the-art indoor velodrome, along with custom designed spaces to host other major athletic and entertainment events. the center's community outreach programs will provide dynamic and creative outlets for young people to be introduced to cycling. the foundation's core mission in its support of this center is to teach life lessons through sports and team building and to inspire today's youth to incorporate positive habits of fitness and health in their lives. active partnerships will be established with regional state organizations to grow and enhance the experience for all and to serve as a template for other facilities around the country.

The organization is a tier iii junior hockey organization whose teams participate within the guidelines of usa hockey.the primary exempt purpose is to promote hockey by identifying talented players and coaches and to foster the growth of the sport. this is all done in a safe and developmentally appropriate environment for the young athletes to develop their skills.

West chester east high school pto fundraises within the high school community through donations and conducting an sat prep course several times throughout the school year. the pto uses the funds to support the school community with educational mini-grants for classroom programs, post prom activities which emphasize student safety, as well as other activities to enhance student learning and support faculty as needed throughout the academic year.

To provide protection and firefighting equipment for fire fighters, fire police and ems volunteer personnel and members of the goshen fire company. also provides fire preventions programs to the public.
