The purposes for which the corporation is organized are: to assist in any type of emergency, especially fire and rescue, that may occur in the fire district (waco fire district) in which the corporation operates; to take, lease, purchase, or otherwise acquire, and to own, use, hold, convey, exchange, lease, encumber, improve, or otherwise handle, deal in, and dispose of real and personal proprty, or any right or interest therein necessary for or incidental to the performance of the primary purpose of the corporation; to borrow money, and to accept donations as necessary to accomplish its lawful objectives.
