To manage an endowment fund to assist in funding programs and activities to be conducted and/or sponsored by the townsend public library in order to provide the widest possible range of information, educational, and cultural services to the individuals and groups in the library community and to raise funds for the purpose of purchasing and donating to the townsend public library deemed desirable for the furtherance of the library's activities.

To collect, preserve, and share townsend history.

The purpose of the organization is to: 1. spread awareness to the public regarding disabled veterans and their needs; 2. "peacefully assemble", and request signatures from the public in support of petitions for redress of grievances; 3. exercise the right of "creative expression" by offering goods made by members of the organization to the public in order to facilitate raising of operational funds (examples of goods offered: state certified homemade baked goods, homemade apparel; etc)

To provide the residents and businesses of townsend, ma local community access and viewership for board and committee meetings, sports, and other events and activities within the town.
