(eabb) works to reduce barriers to care for those whose lives are affected by epilepsy, particularly individuals and families experiencing poverty. eabb was established in 1988 as a charitable 501(c)3 organization to provide services to epilepsy patients and their loved ones, within a 14-county region. eabb navigates tailored, case-managed solutions to care through the provision and payment of diagnostic, treatment and pharmaceutical services; community education; and advocacy for social equity and improved quality of life for all who are touched by this debilitating central nervous system (cns) disorder.
