The greenbelt conservancy (the "greenbelt"), the second of new york city's flagship parks, consists of over 2,800 acres of public and privatge land (greater than the combined acreage of central park and prospect park) in the center of staten island, and includes natural areas and traditonal parks. the greenbelt is not-for-profit organization founded in 1989 that works in partnership with the new york city department of parks and recreation (parks and recreation) to support the operation, administration, and public use of the greenbelt's city parkland. the greenbelt promotes conservancy and enhancement through public awareness, support, and enjoyment of its resources. the greenbelt is also responsible for the prudent management of its resources to benefit the greenbelt.

The center provides community assistance and housing placement and pre-vocational rehabilitation programs to adult members who have experienced mental or emotional difficulties.

To serve as a museum and maritime study center, for the work of john a . noble, a maritime artist, and the working waterfront of new york harbor. the collection offers exhibitions, galleries, classrooms, studios and libraries along with access to archives of its history.

The west brighton community local development corporation dba staten island business outreach center (siboc) was established as a not-for-profit corporation that is dedicated to making staten island, new york a better place to live and shop. our programs are designed to attract new businesses and assist existing businesses in expansion, renovations, promotions, and interactions with government agencies. siboc, through our small business development services, empowers underserved and low- and moderate-income (lmi) entrepreneurs and small business owners, through a combination of business assistance and workforce development. various services are available to assist business owners such as: one to one business counseling, financial literacy, loan applications assistance and services from government, understand regulatory requirements and how to become compliant; seminars on business topics and technology classes. siboc provides minority and women business owners with outstanding support
