The sanford-springvale historical society was formed in 2005 to create a history museum and study center in the towns former town hall. the museum is open to the public free of charge every thursday, friday and saturday.

Our mission is to protect significant habitats for the benefit of people and native species to educate the public about the worth of saving such places and to investigate the best ways to manage these resources.
