Garden court, inc. was organized as an indiana not-for-profit corporation to own and operate two apartment projects for low-income senior citizens in plymouth, indiana. the east project has 60 units and the west project has 46 units. the corporation's mortgage loans were provided through the rural development, department of agriculture, under section 515 of the housing act of 1949. during the year ended june 30, 2019, the corporation began construction on an 18-unit community for homeless families located in plymouth, indiana. serenity place was placed in service in march 2022 and operations commenced thereafter.

Lasalle park homes, inc., an indiana not-for-profit corporation, was organized to construct, own, and operate a 149 unit apartment community in south bend, indiana, known as lasalle park homes, pursuant to section 221(d)(3) of the national housing act. during the year ended december 31, 2006, the community was refinanced pursuant to section 223(a)(7).

The uea is organized and operated exclusively to benefit, perform, and carry out the charitable, scientific, and educational purposes of the city of south bend, indiana by (1) performing and discharging the duties and functions of the urban enterprise association for the city's enterprise zone program by retaining and attracting businesses to the zone and improving the quality of life of zone residents; and, (2) perform community services in economically disadvantaged areas in and around the city.
