The objective and mission of the club shall be to promote knowledge of gardening and the art of floral and plan design; to encourage individual and civic attention to horticultural arts and sciences; to preserve the natural beauty of our community and to encourage the community's aesthetic development and environmental awareness, and to maintain an arboretum to benefit those who seek natural beauty.

To provide callers in crisis or in need of support with unconditional acceptance, compassion, and respect in order to lower anxiety and facilitate their innate coping skills; to help callers capitalize on their strengths in the prevention of self destructive behaviors or suicide; to provide referrals and information about community programs and resources; to heighten public awareness of suicide prevention through community education, outreach and training.

Gallery north is a not-for-profit fine art gallery with a mission to present exhibitions of contemporary artists and crafts persons, to assist and encourage artists by bringing their work to the attention of the public, and to stimulate interest in the arts by presenting innovative, educational programs. furthermore, gallery north is organized to support artists of the long island region, to offer exhibitions and programming for the enjoyment of citizens of the state of new york, to embrace the role of diversity in strengthening the arts, and to engage in lawful acts or activities for which not-for-profit corporations may be organized under new york not-for-profit corporation law.

To provide excellent public library service to all residents of the three village central school district as effectively and efficiently as possible.

The foundation's mission is to donate medical eqiupment to hospitals and medical practices located in low income areas within the united states and abroad.
