The institute's mission is to inspire and empower environmental stewardship for all through transformative experiences in nature.

(a) to improve the quality of public education and provide a means for such improvement within the sedro-woolley school district. (b) to strengthen the bonds, build relationships, and foster a spirit of unity and loyalty, between alumni, students and the sedro-woolley school district (c) to establish and maintain scholarship funds and endowments to provide financial assistance to students seeking post high school education

To promote amateur national and international athletic competitions.

Provide care and shelter for homeless families in skagit valley.

Support and train sedro woolley volunteer firefighters

Support skagit county public hospital district 304 outreach programs to support the local community in education and opportunity for healthy life choices at all age groups

Helping hands purpose is to provide food for needy families in skagit county we hand out food though our weekly distribution, backpack program, mobile food and emergency food programs.
