Sonoma county bicycle coalition promotes bicycling as a central solution to many of the environmental, health, and social problems facing our community. we strive to make sonoma county a safer place to ride a bike through a combination of education and advocacy. our education programs teach children and adults how to ride safely and responsibly; other campaigns educate drivers on how to share the road responsibly. we partner with local and regional agencies to increase funding for bicycle infrastructure and advocate for bike-friendly plans and policies. we also organize encouragement programs and events designed to increase the number of people biking for everyday transportation.
