The mission of greater altanta water safety alliance, inc. is to provide water safety resources and training to the greater atlanta community. gawsa offers virtual or in-person customized presentations for lifeguards, community pools, parent groups, and student organizations on topics of drowning prevention and water safety education with an emphasis on water safety for kids.

Restart assists the homeless concentrating on veterans and citizens retrning from the georgia prison system

Th foundation runs programs designed to significantly reduce malnutrition rates in the population served by the cdc. these include daily snacks for participants, health and entrepreneurship workshops, courses in food preparation, and a program of nutritional assessment for all ages at the center. we support 180 children, 90 adults mostly mothers who are heads of households and 70 seniors to the center each week. in addition, volunteers at the cdc run self-awareness workshops, empowering local women and helping them to be proud of themselves and their role as women. as part of the arts & crafts program, they use local materials like iraca palm leaves, as well as recycled materials, to make toys for pets and other items.

To foster and enhance quality of life by providing financial assistance when needed, due to unforseen circumstances or crises, to public safety and fire responder personnel of the city of sandy springs, ga, as well as public safety and first responders wherever located.

The organization has been formed to provide housing and support services for the elderly and disabled person and those with lower incomes.
