Social service association of ridgewood and vicinity, inc. (the organization") is a not-for-profit agency that provides basic supplemental financial assistance and case management services to individuals and families in need in ridgewood, new jersey and other surrounding towns. the organization is funded primarily through contributions from individuals who live and work in northern bergen county as well as local businesses, churches, synagogues, and other organizations in the communities served by the organization.

The corporation operates four group homes and a day program. the primery source of funding is state of new jersey-division of developmental disabilities

The foundation will develop a basis of perpetual financial support to ensure that the library will always provide outstanding information, education, and culture in a user-friendly, state of the art facility.

The organization's purpose is to provide a competitive soccer program to the youth of ridgewood.

Provide temporary shelter and support to working families experiencing homelessness, and a dinner program to address food insecurity in the community.

Promoting community interest in and developing education and skills programs for the fine arts.
