The specific objectives and purpose of this organization shall be: a. to provide charitable, legal and humane care to injured, orphaned or otherwise compromised wildlife in service to applicable state and local officials, veterinarians and the general public; b. to educate the general public about nys wildlife including coexistence, natural history, harm prevention and other relevant topics; c. to provide employment and employment -training opportunities for people returning home from prisons, jails, or detention centers and people undergoing court-mandated community service; d. to participate in community activities related to promoting the welfare of wildlife and the human rights of former prisoners through the concept of mutual aid in order to create a more just and equitable world for all of its inhabitants.
