The mission of arena theater is to preserve the historic arena theater as a community resource for diverse entertainment, education and performing arts. the theater is located in a remote section of mendocino county with roughly a population of about 5,000 along a 40 mile coast. the theater employs 10 local people, has dozens of dedicated volunteers and a hard-working committed board. arena theater is a member organization within the smallest city in california and continues to be supported by our community despite the covid pandemic and the challenges movie theaters are facing across the country.
