The mission of the millard volunteer fire department is to protect the lives and property of the people of the millard and surrounding communities from fires, natural disasters, and hazardous materials incidents to save lives by providing emergency medical services to prevent fires through prevention and education programs.

The daycare center provides daily service for approximately 200 children. the center also provides educational, medical, and nutritional services which include breakfast, lunch, and a snack based on income fee schedule.
