St. michael academy (sma) is a non-public school that has met the adequacy requirements of the state board of education. the mission of sma is to prepare students for college and for life through the development of the whole person according to high standards of moral and intellectual excellence. it is the intent of st. michael academy to engage exclusively in religious, educational and charitable activities. sma follows a classical curriculum and grants high school diplomas.

We advocate and facilitate the development of a network of multipurpose recreational trails in nothern lower michigan. currently there are 325 miles of trail in our inventory and most are classified as "improved."

Provide youth soccer program for area children.

The mission of the nehemiah project is to provide a witness of god's love for his people. through faith and belief in the holy scriptures, we, as believers, will minister with compassion to our neighbors in need. it is our desire to minister to the whole person; body, soul, mind and spirit. to this end, we promote spiritual and personal growth by providing shelter, hope and prayer to those in need.
