Garden school foundations primary seed to table program of garden-based education served 2,075 students with 571 hours of instruction at seven title i elementary schools. the program includes both virtual and in-person standards-aligned lessons in gardening, ecology, science, nutrition, and cooking. as part of its post-covid response, gsf also held eighteen free school-based farmers markets, serving 1,958 individuals. the organization also pursued its cafeteria to compost program, and hosted volunteers and interns.
