The maine infonet collaborative exists to support cooperation, partnership, collaboration and sharing between academic, public, school, and specials libraries in the state of maine. a major activity of the maine infonet collaborative will be to organize, convene, and manage meetings bringing together librarians and library staff from across the state to help plan and organize cooperative library ventures and/or to provide forums for discussions of topics of importance to libraries across the state. the maine infonet collaborative may in the future from time to time apply for private, state and/or federal grant moneys in order to undertake activities that support library cooperation. the maine infonet collaborative organizes groups of libraries together for collaborative licensing or purchasing of library services, materials, databases,journals, ebooks, electronic content, etc.

To foster relationships among the university of maine and its alumni

Support and promote the university of maine graduate & professional center through fund raising, branding, and engagement with maine enterprises and employers to identify training needs, create experiential education opportunities for students, and develop incubator and accelerator programs.

To increase the capacity of tribal communitites to respond to domestic and sexual violence and influence tribal, national and regional systems to increase awareness, safety, justice and healing for all our relations.

Further the study of pulp & paper and related subjects at the university of maine and encourage students to consider paper related technical careers.

The mission of the animal orphanage is to care for and adopt out the stray or abandoned animals in our local communities. it is a no kill shlter that utilizes rigorous spay and neuter activities to help reduce the number of stray or abandoned animals in our local communities.

Residential, nursing care and community supports to adults with intellectual disabilities. our mission is to enrich the lives of people with disability by developing individualized supports.
