The john green house is the oldest remaining dutch colonial sandstone structure in the village of nyack ny, built by john edward green (1772- 1842) in the year 1819. it is listed on both the new york and national registers of historic places, and is a village of nyack historic landmark. in our (multi-phase, multi-year project) vision, we will return the building to its beautiful appearance from the early 1800s during which it served as business home for john green, sloop captain, lumber dealer, steamboat entrepreneur, church founder and turnpike trustee. as the house is restored and made safe, it will be rehabilitated - both inside and out - to serve the community in exciting ways.

The rockland county pride center is an lgbtq+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer) community center with a justice-focused mission. the pride center works to improve the lives of lgbtq+ people through free and low-cost community events; monthly support groups; lgbtq+ youth program to empower and support young people; services for young adults; family support services; a drop-in social and support space for seniors; lgbtq+ healthcare clinic through a partnership with montefiore nyack hospital; survival services to ensure everyone's basic needs are met; referrals and navigation in working with health and social service systems; training and technical assistance for professionals; and advocacy to address discrimination, close service gaps, and make systemic change.

Maestra music, inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization based in new york that provides support, visibility, and community to the women and nonbinary people who make the music in the musical theater industry. maestra envisions a world in which women and nonbinary people have equitable access, visibility, and creatve impact in the musical theater industry. in this future, at least half of all music-related theater jobs and leadership roles are filled by qualified women and nonbinary musicians, decidedly inclusive of people of color. these musicians are historically and consistently under-represented in musical theatre. by delivering on our mission, we will be a catalyst and driving force to help achieve gender equity in our business.

The mission of the edward hopper house museum and study center is to recognize edward hopper's significant contribution to american art. we do this by preserving his birthplace, nurturing community engagement with the arts and serving as a resource to scholars and artists.

To alleviate homelessness in rockland county.

The center provides space and programs for community-building, community celebration and community services for residents of nyack and and all of rockland county. the center's purposes include creating connections across social, cultural and economic boundaries to improve the life of the community; serving groups of all kinds by providing programs for the immediate neighborhoods as well as the larger area of the nyacks and the county at large; and nurturing and empowering children and responding to the particular needs of children and families through educational and recreational programs and events.

The rockland county ymca (young men's christian association) is a volunteer driven association that welcomes all people to programs that enhance their health and well being, strengthen their personal and family relationship, and enrich their spirits, minds, and bodies.
