The mission of adirondack wild: friends of the forest preserve, is to advance new york's 'forever wild' legacy and forest preserve policies in the adirondack and catskill parks, and promote public and private land stewardship that is consistent with wild land values through education, advocacy and research.

Provide rowing instruction, competitive opportunities and associated physical training to athletes attending niskayuna high school and niskayuna central school district middle schools during fall and spring rowing seasons. the organization also provides rowing instruction and training to youth and adults during fall, spring and summer rowing seasons. services include maintenance of rowing shells, oars, launch boats, safety equipment and travel to regattas.
