The school originally planned to operate a traditional school for children. however, the school determined that it could better meet the educational needs of the community by operating different types of schools focused on both children and adults. to that end,the school operates programs for preparing and mentoring students entering college and programs to meet the professional development needs of teachers and administrators. these programs have a regularly scheduled curriculum,a regular faculty,and a regularly enrolled body of students in attendance at a place where the educational activities are regularly carried on. the school's curriculum is wide-ranging. accordingly,the education provided by the school is comprehensive and constitutes a regularly scheduled curriculum. the progressive teaching methods of the school are intended to promote in students a love of learning, to instill in them a sense of personal agency and respect for others and to develop critical thinking skills.
