Mission and vision newsong counseling center opened in the summer of 2014. cathy turner had a strong desire to serve residents of montgomery county as well as surrounding areas. mount sterling, the gateway to the east, is at the edge of the appalachian mountains where oftentimes mental and behavioral healthcare needs go untreated for generations. mount sterling, itself, is a small town where everyone knows everyone else. to live among familiarity, southern hospitality, and strong community and still go unnoticed is often to feel invisible and/or isolated. newsong counseling centers mission has been clear from the beginning - to provide affordable, professional counseling services with intentions to empower, nurture and educate individuals, couples and groups. cathy had discovered that few affordable opportunities for counseling existed in the area, causing many people to travel to lexington or further to receive quality services that were often more expensive and even exorbitant. cathy

The post clinic is a nonprofit organization which provides free medical services to needy individuals from montgomery county, kentucky, and surrounding areas, who are not eligible for other medical assistance. the post clinic relies on the services of unpaid medical professionals and volunteers as well as an executive director, physician/dental assistants & certain administrative staff, all of whom are moderately compensated and work on a part-time basis.

The mission is to facilitate the rental requirements of sterling health solutions to comply with all reporting regulations under the new market tax credit program.

Entity provides a wide array of programs and services to children, youth, adults and families. services include: a 28 bed residential treatment program, therapeutic foster care program, adoption services, outpatient behavioral health & substance abuse programs, psychiatric services, individual, group and family therapy and on-site school.
