The marin audubon society is dedicated to active participation in conservation, environmental education, and enjoyment of our natural heritage. we advocate sound land and water resource planning, and act to restore, enhance, and safeguard our wetlands and other natural habitats. birds and other wildlife are the indicators of the health or our environment, and we remain committed to their protection and preservation.

Track twos mission is to advance positive relationships between countries in conflict by convening experts and influencers from these countries to spawn peace building networks.we offer these experts the space and tools they need to challenge their entrenched perceptions, shift perspectives and embrace cooperation, collaboration and friendship. we develop collaborative cultural, educational, environmental, scientific, and related endeavors through these networks.

The organization is a montessori-inspired, non-profit independent, co-educational school serving close to 300 children from preschool through 8th grade founded in 1977 by a visionary group of parents and teachers, the school's mission is to challenge students to be self-reliant thinkers and lifelong learners, inspire academic excellence, nurture students' natural love of learning, and encourage them to be confident individuals who are responsible to each other, the community and the world. the school is governed by a volunteer board of trustees comprised of parents, faculty, alumni, and community members.

O'hanlon center for the arts provides an environment and spaces where creativity and community can develop, expand and flourish.

Education

The bbs provides aid and compassionate relief assistance to british nationals living or residing in the western states of the united states (ca, nv, wa, or, id, ak, ut, wy, nm, az and mt.). the bbs relief committee, overseen by the board of directors, determines the most impactful assistance for applicants who may be financially distressed, sick, destitute or in need of financial assistance to return to the uk. the bbs also has a robust events committee helping to promote the charity through community and fundraising events.

As a quasi-governmental organization, the organization received approximately 35% of its operating funds from the county of marin, california.homestead valley community association provides safe recreational and educational programs for the residents of the community. program fees help offset the expenses of repair and maintenance of the facilities. funds received from the county of marin cover real estate taxes assessed on the community center. swimming pool memberships provide discounts for families in the community and help increase public awareness of the center.

Marin theatre company produces world-class theatre for the county of marin and bay area communities. mtc strives to set a national standard for intimate theatre experiences of the highest quality, featuriing provocative plays by passionate playwrights. mtc pursues a dialogue with its community that addresses our national and local concerns and interests, and assists in finding a new understanding of the audiences' lives. mtc creates future artists and arts patrons through innovative programs for youth.
