Our most significant activity in 2022 was the rtd skatepark operating on the grounds of rock the desert. rtd skatepark was open year round on tuesday, friday and saturday nights. rtd skatepark conducts tuesday, friday and saturday night bible study that is open to the public free of charge. rtd skatepark has seen dozens of decisions made for christ since its opening in 2014, and offers a safe environment for the youth in midland and odessa to enjoy skateboarding. rtd skatepark has been a dream of the rock the desert board memberes and founders for many years. the goal was to take the skate ministry happening at the festival to more of a year round ministry, and it has been really exciting and fulfilling to see that dream become a reality.

The corporation is organized for the following purpose or purposes:to lift the spirits of our u.s. troops and disabled veterans and their spouses and significant others, and to show that we support and appreciate them and the sacrifices they make for us, our families, and our future by providing them with recognition, a banquet in their honor, and high-quality, hands-on hunting and fishing opportunities. the program seeks to give back to those who give all.educate the public to make aware the value of the freedom to hunt and fish and enjoy all that the outdoors has to offer. these are long, held, time honored traditions of society. the right, freedom and privilege to do these things cannot be taken for granted. this activity teaches repect for our resources and instills pride in taking care of those assets. foster a strong sense of caring and pride in our community and country, promoting our sport and common goals for hunters and the outdoor men and women of all ages.

Host multiple fundraising events in both midland and delaware basin like ropings, golf tournaments, and clay shoots that benefit the permian pipeliners education fund (ppef). these scholarship and grant funds help prepare students for future careers in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. (stem)program related to the pipeline and oil and gas-related industries.

Serve midland conducts a charity tennis tournament that hosts both men and women tennis teams from all ratings to participate in a two-day event. the players tournament is then followed on the second day with an exhibition match from tennis professionals and an evening celebration for sponsors, players, and attendees. sponsorships/teams/and individual tickets are raised through the fall/winter and then used to put on the serve midland event in april. raffles and donations are encouraged to increase the revenue, all with the goal of giving a chosen non-profit beneficiary a check for their organization at the event. this is a fun and easy way to pair the spirit of philanthropy with the game of tennis that has become increasingly more popular in midland. it also provides vital funding for other nonprofits that are consistently doing important work and providing social services for residents of midland.

Midland fair havens is a faith-based, non-profit organization that provides supportive services to determined single mothers and their children, so that they may become healthy, self-sufficient families. these include secure housing, vocational and life skills education, case management, and basic needs assistance.midland fair havens services women with children who are homeless or who are in danger of becoming homeless. even though they are coming from different types of backgrounds and situations, all of these mothers are highly motivated to make the necessary lifestyle changes that will lead to a stable home life. they leave unhealthy relationships and environments to further their education, learn crucial life skills and strengthen themselves emotionally and spiritually so that they can build a brighter future for their families.

The organization assists qualified first time homebuyers with credit report review, counseling, and down payment assistance to be "mortgage ready" in the puchase of their first home. in partnership with the city of midland, the organization revitalizes "target areas" designated as distressed by developing home communities for these qualified low income families.
