The ymca of middletown is a charitable, community service organization that includes men, women and children of all ages, abilities, incomes, races and religions. we are dedicated to building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities that promote healthy lifestyles, strong values, leadership development, community interaction, and international understanding. all persons are welcome at our ymca, regardless of their ability to pay. our ymca is founded and led by volunteers from our community; volunteers also serve as mentors, coaches, program leaders, instructors and more.

To raise and distribute funds, build a strong alumni network, and foster lasting ties to our community in order to expand opportunities and support the success of suny orange students.

Garnet health (gh) is a new york state, not-for-profit corporation headquartered in middletown, new york, approximately 60 miles north of new york city. it is currently the active parent company for two member hospitals - garnet health medical center - catskills and garnet health medical center . garnet health is also the active parent company for the garnet health foundation and garnet health medical center - catskills foundation. garnet health doctors pc and garnet health urgent care pc are also participants in the system. gh is dedicated to developing specialty services, medical programs and needed healthcare services that allow residents to remain close to home to receive quality care.
