See schedule o.orleans community health exists to improve the health of the communities we serve by providing equal access to quality health care services provided at the right time, in the right place, with the most efficient use of resources. this will be accomplished through a collaborative effort with physician partners, hospital associates, volunteers and the twig association, using a philosophy of continuous quality improvement.

The foundation's purpose is to raise and organize funds in support of orleans community health.

The lee-whedon memorial library is open to the public 2800 hours per year for the purpose of loaning library materials, providing reference services, and offering valuable programs for children and adults.

To provide fire protection and emergency services including medical, civil defense and educational awareness to the general public in and around the town of shelby.

Provide monetary & spiritual assistance to local churches, non-profit organizations and the surrounding community.

Assemble, preserve, interpret and display railroad artifacts,model and memorabilia for the enjoyment of the public and education of future generations and to benefit tourism and economic development.

Our organization provides fire, rescue and ems services to our fire district of approximately 750 residents. we also provide mutual aid to neighboring departments as requested. citizens are urged to be fire safe.
