The "american friends of unit 669 or in its acronyms; is a non-profit organization founded in 2019 by us citizens, top executives from wide sectors from the medical arena to the business world, all unite in the passion to support our heroes who save lives. we are fully integrated and support the unit's core values of helping others, social responsibility, and contributing to make other people stronger.

The arc of essex county, inc is a private, non-profit agency serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families who live in and around essex county. the arc of essex county's dedicated staff of over 500, works with over 1,500 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and families each week. programs and services offered provide opportunities for individuals and families with a wide range of support needs to be meaningfully engaged in and with their communities. by combining compassion and competence in over 40 programs and services, the arc supports individuals from birth through their senioryears to live fuller, more independent lives.

Jersey cares works with hundreds of nonprofits to help them analyze the potential for volunteers to help accomplish their goals. we then recruit volunteers to accomplish those goals through projects that recur at each location on a regular basis as well as one-time events. in the last year,jersey cares contributed more than 2.3 million to new jersey's communities in volunteer time, project supplies, coats, children's gifts, collection drive donations and other quantifiable impact.
