To serve the wv school of osteopathic medicine (the "wvsom"), its faculty, students and alumni as an additional funding source through fundraising, managing funds, and overseeing distribution of these funds. it accomplishes this by engaging in the following principal activities: 1) solicitation of restricted and unrestricted charitable contributions, 2) investment of available liquid assets, 3) awarding to qualified students, faculty or staff of wvsom certain grants or scholarships, 4) rental of a conference/event facility located on the campus of wvsom, 5) making bridge financing loans for students in need.

The greenbrier repertory theatre company, also known as the greenbrier valley theatre (the organization), was organized in 1967 as a west virginia nonprofit corporation for the purpose of providing entertainment and educational opportunities to the public in greenbrier county, west virginia and surrounding areas. the mission of the organization is to create live, professional quality theatre in west virginia and through theatre to englighten, enrich and enliven the life of the region.

To provide a residential center and clinically based therapeutic programs for neglected, abused, and emotionally disturbed adolescents.

To maintain and operate a museum that will preserve the history of the greenbrier area. the organization will promote the study of the history of the area, promote education efforts in this regard through exhibits, studies of genealogical and anthropological materials, and maintenance of the artifacts entrusted to its care.
