The lake wylie children's charity is a charitable organization incorporated in the state of south carolina that raises money for a local family or families whose child has a life-threatening disease such as cancer. the entire purpose of the organization is to raise funds to support the families' financial needs for any or all of the necessities fo life to continue to operate as a family, including but not limited to food, clothing, transportation or general or household expenses. distribution is made directly to creditor companies. selection is based on the financial need & the families as referred by hospitals & social service agencies. the families reside in the lake wylie area of north or south carolina. this is an all volunteer organization; no one receives a salary or operates as an independent compensated third-party.
