The purpose of hopeful tails animal rescue is to: (a) rescue dogs in danger of being euthanized at high kill shelters, (b) take responsibility for dogs that are surrendered by owners that can no longer care for them, (c) provide necessary veterinary care with the inclusion of a spay or neuter, (d) provide loving temporary care at hopeful tails and with the foster program, (e) place rescued dogs into well-matched, carefully selected, permanent adoptive homes and (f) serve as a resource to the community and all dog owners by providing education and information on responsible dog ownership, including the importance of spay or neuter, positive behavior training and good nutrition.

The boys and girls club movement is a nationwide affiliation of local autonomous organizations and boys and girls club of america working to help youth of all backgrounds, with specific concern for those from disadvantaged circumstances to develop the qualities necessary to become productive members of society.

Significant programs include before/after school programs for over 1,700 children per day, summer day camps for over 800 children per day, and youth aquatics for over 2,500 children per year.

To support joliet township high school district 204 students, faculty and staff in enhancing teaching, learning and community service opportunities. funding is accomplished through projects, events and partnerships organized and implemented by the foundation.
