To educate and teach the general public about the benefits of downtown as well as the history of downtown.

Walker county childrens advocacy center, inc. will provide services to child victims of physical and sexual abuse, severely neglected children and children who have witnessed a violent crime. the center will work every day to try and stop the abuse and neglect of children. walker county childrens advocacy center, inc. will perform factual interviews of the child victim in a child friendly interview room. mental health therapy will be offered to each child victim to help reduce trauma and restore lost childhoods. the center will also provide a court education and preparation sessions that will help educate each child victim about the court system and help make them as comfortable as possible.

Housing, counseling and protection of abused spouses and children; provision of temporary shelter for these individuals

To promote and advance housing projects and related facilities for low-income families, including elderly and disabled, and to work to acquire property located in jasper, al and nearby areas to develop affordable housing.
