The specific purposes of the organization are to protect homes, communities and environment from wildfires in the area of idyllwild, california in accordance with the fire safe laws of the state and federal governments; to preserve and enhance idyllwild and surrounding areas and man-made and natural resources by providing leadership and support that mobilizes idyllwild residents to protect their homes, communities and environment from wildfires.

The idyllwild community center exists to enhance the quality of life for every resident of the hill communities and visitors to the area, by creating vibrant recreational, cultural, and social opportunities for all ages at multiple locations in the beautiful village of idyllwild.

To serve abused and neglected children through a mountain camp program.

Changing lives through the transformative power of art.

To provide food and clothing, medical and social referrals and emergency services to those in need in a small remote mountain community

To serve christ and christians through camps and retreat experiences.
