Little shelter animal adoption center, one of long island's oldest no-kill shelters,is dedicated to saving all companion animals whose lives are in jeopardy. throughrescue from kill facilities, rehabilitation of sick and un-socialized pets, and a100% spay/neuter program, little shelter hopes to end pet overpopulation and placeall dogs and cats in loving homes. located in huntington, little shelter was thefirst organization outside new york city to be a member of the mayor's alliance.

Ubcf's purpose is to make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. ubcf aids in providing screening, treatment, after-care, educational material, and patient and family assistance and information. ubcf provides grants to hospitals and community health centers to benefit patients and families coping with breast cancer. ubcf strives to alleviate the stress and strain that cancer can cause to patients and families and to foster health and well-being through both traditional and holistic treatments by never denying anyone service regardless of age, race, gender, or income.

To promote the growth, development and well-being of youth in the town of huntington through programs and services that are responsive to the needs of youth, their families and the community.

The corporation was organized principally for youth advocacy, delinquency prevention, recreation and job development for youth between the ages of five and twenty-one, using skilled social workers

Holiday house is an organization that raises funds from september through june to provide a residential camp program for young girls in need. there are four two week sessions for approximately 50 girls each session. each summer we serve approximately 200 girls.
