The young men's christian association of the prairie was organized to work in cooperation with others to enhance the spiritual, social, mental, and physical life of the members of the community through health and fitness programs that develop economic, social, and moral conditions for youth and adults, while utilizing the facilities, equipment, and buildings of the young men's christian association of the prairie, in an effort to improve the community's quality of life.

To provide long-term health care for the elderly.

To acquire, construct, proide and operate housing, rental property, commercial buildings, related facilities suited to the special needs and living requirements of eligible occupants as determined by any government agency regs and this corporation without regard to sex, age, religion, race, sexual identity,physical or mental handicap, marital status or national origin

To offer programs & services to older persons so they can stay in their own homes and remain independent.

The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and benevolent purposes to further create the facilities and infrastructure necessary to foster, develop and promote youth sports and related youth activities in and around holdrege, nebraska and including the solicitation and acceptance of gifts, devises and bequests of property for the furtherance of said charitable purposes all as provided in section 501(c) (3) of the internal revenue code.
