Ywca hamilton is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. the primary programs include racial justice advocacy, a permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless individuals with disabilities like serious persistent mental illness and addictions, a domestic violence shelter and dv crisis hotline which serves survivors of dv abuse and human trafficking, and a youth empowerment program for girls and boys. all programs are rooted in the evidence-based practices of trauma informed care, housing first, and harm reduction.

As butler countys community action agency, supports to encourage low-income families (self) exists to enhance the quality of life for county residents by impacting the causes of poverty and empowering individuals to achieve, sustain and advocate self-sufficiency.

Aaf is a no kill shelter for domestic animals that have been abused and abandoned. aaf provides and coordinates adoption, spay/neuter, and educational programs, which aim to reduce and control pet population. aaf maintains temporary housing for approxiamately 85 dogs and cats.
