The purpose of the organization is to provide aid and support to citizens in times of need residing in darke county and surrounding counties, including but not limited to providing food, shelter, clothing, medical care, counseling services, and other similar aid, as well as to provide aid and support to clergy and those doing missionary work from said counties.

To acquire and accept charitable gifts for the darke county historical society in order to preserve, perpetuate and advance the history of darke county, ohio and its citizens, and for charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, or corresponding future federal tax code.

To provide relief for the poor, distressed, underprivileged, including financial assistance to individuals and families. and to make distributions to allowable organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the irs code.
