The mission of cancer services of gaston county, inc. is to encourage prevention and early detection of cancer through education and accessible cancer screening services, to render services and rehabilitation to cancer patients; to be a mobilizing force in gaston county for improved health practices, and to contribute to research for the eventual eradication of cancer.

The purpose is to provide educational, employment and financial assistance to low income residents of gaston, cleveland, lincoln and stanley counties in north carolina.

Assist individuals with mental and physical disabilities and their familes by offering high quality services with guidance, support and involvement by providing resources to promote their integration into the community through counseling, activities, work preparation services, job placement, and life enrichment activities.
