To provide scholarships for students graduating from freeport high school in freeport, maine to pursue post-secondary education. goal is to provide up to 4 students per year with scholarship assistance equal to $5,000 per year for up to 4 years to attend 4 year college and 4 students per year with scholarship assistance equal to$4,000 per year for up to 2 years to attend technical school.

Mffm's mission is to cultivate a vibrant sustainable farmers' market community, as a vital part of maine's local food network. the federation works with farmers, consumers and communities to make wholesome, locally-grown foods available to all residents, to educate consumers about food resources and to support farm viability.
