To promote the wise use of new jersey's marine and caostal resources through research, education, and outreach. to advance knowledge,stewardship and sustainable use of new jersey's marine and coastal resources by providing integrated research, education, communications, and extension services to new jersey's citizens and visitors. new jersey sea grant consortium, inc. also supports new jersey's pre-college and post-secondary academic institutions to ensure the quality, availability, and accessibility of marine and coastal education programs statewide.
