North carolina stop human trafficking, inc. actively works towards abolishing human trafficking locally and globally. the organization seeks to accomplish its mission by: (1) educating citizens about the reality of sex trafficking and labor trafficking in eastern north carolina and around the world; (2) expanding local markets for fairly traded items produced without coerced or exploitative labor practices; (3) encouraging legislators, law enforcement, and the public to contribute to the fight to end human trafficking, and (4) collaborating with and supporting other local, national, and international anti-trafficking and victim-assistance efforts.
