Provide and promote participation in quality year-round amateur sports programs in baseball, softball, football, basketball and cheerleading to youths of the community between the ages of 5 and 16, through an all-volunteer staff.

The mission of united way of the capital region is to improve lives in cumberland, dauphin and perry counties by identifying the most pressing community needs, finding solutions to those needs, and demonstrating how these solutions are making a difference.

The purpose of the organization is to promote and foster dance in the central pennsylvania region by providing professional instruction in classical ballet thereby providing dancers with the skills necessary to prepare them for professional careers; provide dancers the opportunity to explore other dance disciplines; provide educational curriculum including dance history, music appreciation, the physiology of dance and choreography. we provide exceptional training from nationally recognized professionals; create a nurturing environment where dancers are encouraged to develope as both artists and individuals. lastly, we present programs of high artistic quality enabling skilled dancers to participate.

The exempt purpose is providing emergency and routine medical transport to residents of east pennsboro and to hospitals, nursing homes and other medical facilities. organization also exists to provide fire prevention instruction, observe fire drills at local nursing homes to ensure citizen safety and respond to all fire calls in east pennsboro.

The foundation conducts projects oriented to to serve the needs of children and to accomplish other projects that have community benefit.

Partnership for career development is governed by a volunteer board of directors in order to enhance the awareness of students in grades k through 12 in pulbic school districtts and private schools within dauphin, cumberland, perry, york and lebanon counties, pennsylvania as to post-secondary education, training and career options and opportunities.

To help strengthen, promote, and otherwise support tax-exempt charitable organizations and the communities and individuals they serve. the foundation will provide tax-exempt charitable organizations in-kind contributions of sports education, physical education, speaking, marketing, communication, event and relations services to enable the charitable organizations served by the foundation to expand the reach and effectiveness of their exempt activities, better serve their charitable beneficiaries, and ultimately better achieve their exempt purposes.
