The mission of the community services foundation of cecil county is to foster, support and develop programs that enhance the well-being of children, families, older adults and persons with disabilities, and cecil county's animal population. the foundation seeks to spearhead initiatives that address the growing needs and interests of the community. the foundation works in tandem with the cecil county department of community services to develop and maintain community-based services and programs.

Our mission is to advocate for and support abused and neglected children in the court system to ensure their right to safe, stable, permanent homes.

Organization's exempt mission has changed. organization is now directed solely by the board of the fair hill foundation, a 501(c)(3) entity, and as such will now adhere to the exempt mission of the fair hill foundation which is to support the state of maryland in maintenance, preservation and enhancement of the property located at fair hill natural resources management area in cecil county, md. organization supports this mission via fundraising activities consisting of horse racing at fair hill. legislation, house bill 80, was enacted effective october 2019 to repeal the requirement that profits earned from horse racing benefit a certain hospital. profits will now be disbursed for the benefit of the state of md dept of natural resources property at fair hill.

Mission; the fair hill environmental foundation, inc. is a private non-profit natural history and environmental learning center serving students and adults from the tri-state area of northeastern maryland, southeastern pennsylvania and northern delaware. our aim is to promote responsible stewardship through an appreciation and understanding of our environment. vision; we envision a regional community where people respect, protect and preserve the natural environment and it's resources. goals: 1) raise awareness among children and adults regarding the interrelationships that occur in nature and the interdependence of the environment, our health, the economy and culture. 2) increase actions among citizenry that demonstrate environmental responsibilty. 3) strengthen public advocacy towards the protection, preservation and restoration of the chesapeake bay watershed.
