To support charitable, educational, religious, or scientific purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, including, without limitation, providing financial support to local schools to provide scholarships to graduation seniors for their first year of post-secondary education, as well as provide financial support to local charities in edwardsville and surrounding areas in which the corporation serves.

The organizations mission is to restore the colonel benjamin stephenson house, to conduct educational tours and programs at the house, make presentations to the community and school groups, and publish a newsletter regarding the above activities.
