Hsnei rescues, fosters, and adopts unwanted domestic cats and dogs. the organization assists with population control of feral and domestic cats and dogs. hsnei also provides education of humane pet treatment as well as volunteer opportunities.

Established in 1988, the non-profit raptor resource project specializes in the preservation of falcons, eagles, ospreys, hawks, and owls. we create, improve, and directly maintain over 40 nests and nest sites, provide training in nest site creation and management, and develop innovations in nest site management and viewing that bring people closer to the natural world. our mission is to preserve and strengthen raptor populations, expand participation in raptor preservation, and help foster the next generation of preservationists.

To provide the annual, free winneshiek county fair, to advance the interests of animal husbandry, agriculture, horticulture & floriculture, to improve & encourage breeding of fine stock, and to stimulate the study of arts & sciences, especially for youths & young adults, providing the facilities & events to exhibit the products & results of theses educational and scientific projects, as well as art & craft projects and the performing arts.

To render assistance in the form of housing programs and projects to economically and socially disadvantaged persons in allamakee, clayton, fayette, howard, and winneshiek counties in the state of iowa.

1.to encourage and assist generous area residents in recycling their discarded clothing and small household goods. 2.to recycle such clothing and small household goods at low prices to area consumers. 3.to provide area residents with opportunities to volunteer their services in the organization's recycling effort. 4.to provide area residents with opportunities to train and work in the organization's recycling effort. 5.to contribute funds from this organization's recycling effort to community and church organizations throughout winneshiek county.
