The center performs forensic interviews on children in response to calls from either the department of children and family services or law enforcement regarding a minor child who may have been abused. they work as advocates for the child with non-accused family members and law enforcement to determine the validity and extent of any abuse that may have occurred and provide mental health services to the child.

To provide educational programs for area children and adults in crime prevention & personal safety. to provide economic assistance to economically disadvantage children & families.

Encourager's mission is to encourage ministries in nations affected by the aids virus and caused by civil war. we do this through facilitating education and basic care and assistance to the orphans left in their wake.

To become a vermilion county wide intiative that acts as the umbrella of services for children and families in need. the project success process will create oppotunities to prevent violence,crime,abuse,neglect and hunger, and act as an advocate for children and families through the development of school based intiatives. expansion would allow social, health, and medical/dental service to be available to all school districts in the vermilion county area
