Our mission is to improve the lives of hardworking, struggling households by mobilizing the resources of local communities to create lasting change. united way of western connecticut is the champion for families living paycheck to paycheck in our 15-town region across northern fairfield county, southern litchfield county, and the city of stamford. we focus on three key areas: education, financial stability, and health. our vision is that every family is healhty and strong, every household is financially stable, and every child enters school ready to learn and graduates ready to succeed. we are focused on a population that united way calls alice (asset limited, income constrained, employed). alice households are employed, often in more than one job, yet often cannot afford basic necessities like food, housing, transportation, child care, and healthcare. a united way report published in september 2023 revealed that 39% of households throughout connecticut are alice or live in poverty.

Jericho meets the academic, physical, social and spiritual needs of danbury, ct's at-risk youth, and by extension their families, to enable life transformation, for god's glory.jericho does this through wholistic, volunteer-powered, relational programs and services, including christian mentoring, k-12 tutoring, summer learing programs, reading buddies, project-based learning, life readiness workshops, food pantry, and healthcare for vulnerable children.

Provide area women with job readiness skills through tutoring, job placement, career mentoring and other job related services.

Operate a non-sectarian food pantry for needy families in the immediate danbury area. food is given out to these families free of charge.

Alcohol and drug treatment

To provide services to combat poverty and promote self sufficiency among the residents of western connecticut.

To sponsor musical organizations, both instrumental & vocal, for persons to study & perform music and share the joy of music with people in the greater danbury area.

Become the partner-in-health for the people throughout the core regions of western connecticut and the hudson valley of new york through the efficient delivery of excellent, innovative and compassionate care.

The purpose of the association is to establish & maintain a mutually beneficial relationship with western conn. state university

Family & children's aid (fca) is a community-based, behavioral health organization offering high quality innovative and responsive programs and services to heal and support children and families in crisis

To establish, maintain and implement the highest standards of integrity, honesty and efficiency in the conduct, admministration, policies and scope of amateur athletic activities in member institutions.

The organization is a pregnancy counseling service dedicated to promoting the sanctity of human life by providing education and christ centered counseling, guidance, and support for pregnant women.
