The floor covering industry foundation is a non-profit organization that provides catastrophic medical assistance for those who are or have been affiliated with the floor covering industry who experience illnesses, severe disabilities, or other life-altering hardships by providing financial grants for medical care, housing, and basic needs

To provide support, both financially and through volunteering, to the dalton high school football team and to other athletic programs of the school in order to develop well-rounded and productive student athletes.

To educate the public on livestock, agricultural products, canned goods, display of school and public crafts, as well as to furnish patrons with entertaining amusements.

To provide support for affiliated tax-exempt organizations.

To provide individual grants, scholarships and educational programs for eligible faculty and residents of the north georgia area

To provide arts experiences and education to the community in north georgia. the organization provides a venue for visual arts exhibits, music performances, dance performances, and arts education.

Provide shelter, vet care and sterilization for abandoned animals and place them in good homes through adoption.

Hamilton medical center, inc. operates a 255-bed, acute care hospital, including a 24-hour emergency room in dalton, ga. during the fiscal year ended 09/30/2022, the medical center had 48,432 patient days and 199,595 outpatient visits. hamilton serves the needs of area residents without discrimination and regardless of ability to pay.

To operate, maintain, and govern a speech and hearing clinic in dalton, ga, to serve the northwest, ga area. the clinic shall provide diagnostic and remediation services for speech, language, voice, swallowing, and hearing disorders, of the highest quality available utilizing all available technology. all services and facilities shall be offered without discrimination as to religious conviction, race, color, sex, national origin, or economic status.
