To maintain a state of readiness to fight fires and respond to emergencies in the town of courtland and southampton county virginia by training personnel and maintaining equipment.

To provide emergency medical services to the courtland area of southampton counties and support the volunteer fire departments and rescue squads in the courty or close proximity as needed.
