Green columbus is a volunteer-driven nonprofit seeking to improve equitable environmental outcomes for the people of central ohio.

Since 2020, the citizens utility board of ohio (cub ohio) has worked on behalf of residential and small business utility consumers to make their service more affordable, reliable, clean, and equitable. cub ohio did so by educating consumers, the general public, and state and local leaders on policy as well as by legal intervention at the public utilities commission of ohio, among other activities.

To provide a sacred space serving vulnerable womxn who are at risk for sexual exploitation in our westside neighborhood of central ohio.

The organization was formed to educate the public about the contributions of ohio and noted ohio natives to air and space flight. in addition, the corporation will operate and manage the ohio air & space hall of fame and learning center to so honor ohio and those contributions of its citizens and natives.

The mission of strategic facility partners, inc. (sfp) is to enhance the living and learning environments and interactions of the communities at educational institutions throughout the united states, to lessen the burdens of government, and to promote both social welfare and student development. specifically, sfp's activities will involve combinations of funding, constructing, owning, and/or operating student housing and amenities at public and private colleges and universities.

Seeds of caring is organized to engage children and their families in service to the community. seeds of caring offers child-centered volunteer activities to empower children to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands and minds.

Promote and support human service agencies of central ohio in becoming more effective, efficient, and self-sustaining. employ such persons as the corporation's board of directors deems necessary to carry out the purposes described herein and pay reasonable compensation for their services solicit, receive, and maintain, and distribute funds in furtherance of the purposes of the corporation and engage in any lawful act, activity , or business not contrary to and for which a nonprofit corporation may be formed under the laws of the state of ohio, and to have and exercise all powers conferred by the laws of the state of ohio over nonprofit corporations.

The organization provided over 10,000 free health screenings to african american men including dental, prostate, hiv, glucose, bmi, mental health, weight loss, and health education to over 20,000 participants each year through national walks to raise awareness.

A community bicycle shop is different from a regular bicycle shop. around here, bike repair is a cooperative effort rather than a way to make money. what were doing isnt just about building bikes. its about building relationships and bringing a community together. our shop space, stands, and tools are available free of cost for anyone who wants to work on his or her bike. and volunteer mechanics are on hand to share their knowledge and experience. fcw is a place of co-working and co-learning. we believe everyone has something to learn and something to offer which means no matter who you are, you have a place at fcw. together, we're building more connected, more empowered individuals and a more vibrant neighborhood. fcw is also a recycling center. we accept any and all bicycle related donations regardless of condition. we refurbish and re-purpose what we can and recycle anything thats no longer usable. we throw away as little as possible.
