Lumen's mission is to be a source of restoration for christian culture by communally encountering the trancendentals: truth, goodness and beauty. this will occur through providing musical events, lectures, presentations, and other artistic and intellectual mediums that have been passed down for generations. we intend to engage in the stewardship of christian culture through the communication of the transcendentals in order to bring our community closer to god and to teach each other. lumen's hope is to shine light into the darkeness presented by modernity and turn the tide on the direction of american culture.

Our mission at hospice of north idaho is to provide comprehensive, high quality end of life care in kootenai, shoshone, and benewah counties, idaho. we provide hospice services to patients with a prognosis of six months or less to live.

United way of north idahos mission is to improve lives in our community. we do this by engaging individuals and organizations in our community in a way that is meaningful to them through volunteerism, financial contributions, or leadership.

Safe passage provides a domestic violence hot line and rape/sexual assault hotline for kootenai and benewah counties. save passage also maintains service for the kootenai cunty crisis lines and provides hospital advocacy for victims at the emergency room or admitted to the hospital for injuries to both domestic violence and rape/sexual assault victims. the most significant activities include court advocacy, community outreach and education, volunteer coordination, counseling and children's center, rape/sexual assault teen dating violence programs and administering the hotline and shelter programs.

Ncce is dedicated to supporting effective uses of technology in education. ncce hosts the largest educational technology conference in the pacific northwest and provides it's members with resources and professional development.

The purpose of the first judicial district casa program is to recruit, screen, train and supervise community volunteers who are appointed by the court to serve as guardians ad litem for children found to be under the purview of the idaho child protective act.

To preserve and develop the north idaho centennial trail system and promote non-motorized trail connectivity throughout north idaho.

The organization is committed to the care and housing of the young who are not surviving in their homes, including short and long-term residential care for children ages birth through early adulthood.

Provide activities, meals, and support to seniors on-site and at their homes.
